Terms & Conditions
A 20% non refundable deposit must be made to secure your stay at Villa Ekim. The remaining balance is due 12 weeks before your departure date. We will send you a reminder email at least one week before the full balance is due to be paid. An invoice will be emailed to you with details of any payments received and any outstanding amounts which acts as your receipt.
Cancellations made by the customer
We offer a strict refund policy. Please note once any monies have been paid we apply a no refund policy. We will however in some circumstances transfer your booking to an alternative date at Villa Ekim where possible (additional costs may apply)
Changes/cancellations made by the owner
If circumstances beyond the owners control make the rental home unavailable, then the customer will be advised as soon as possible. Alternative accommodation of at least comparable standard will be offered if available.
Accommodation/ Check In/Check Out Times
Access to the property is only made available from 14:00 on the first rental date agreed and vacated at 12:00 on the agreed departure date. An earlier check in/ later check out time can be arranged if required depending on your flight times but this will incur a fee, this is subject to availability. The property is reserved for the people names on the booking and no other persons are permitted to stay there unless agreed by email with us prior to the rental period. We charge an additional supplement on any guests above our maximum occupancy of 8.
On arrival the property will be clean, the beds will be made up with fresh linen and clean towels will be provided for use in the bathrooms. We don’t provide a mid week clean, however this can be arranged at an extra cost and is payable in resort through our management company, Support Unlimited.
Transfers
Transfers must be booked through our management company, Support Unlimited, as they hold the keys to our property. You must forward a copy of your flight booking to info@villaekim.com so we can book your transfers. Upon arrival at the Villa the driver will then issue a key and this must be returned to the driver on your return pickup. Your return pick up is approximately three and a half hours before your flight home.
After you’ve booked your stay with us
Once you have booked with us we’ll send you a Property Owners Guest Registration Form ( POGRF ) to fill out with your party’s details. When you send this back to us, we’ll also need scanned copies of the photograph and personal details page of each persons passport in your party. This is a legal requirement under Turkish law and failure to provide this information at least 1 month prior to your departure will result in your booking being cancelled. If you’ve already paid for your booking, our refund policy will apply.
Complaints
If there is any issues during your stay at Villa Ekim, you can contact our management company directly using the details on the contact us page. You can also message or email us directly and we will endeavour to rectify any issues immediately.
Travel Insurance
It is considered ESSENTIAL for the customer and all persons staying at Villa Ekim to hold suitable holiday, medical and travel insurance. It is advisable for this insurance to be in place at the time the rental booking is made.
Liabilities
The owner does not accept any responsibility or liability for acts of omissions of third parties which may prevent or disrupt a customers booking. The booking contract exists between the owner and the customer and is limited to the rental period of the property and associated services only. The information and descriptions provided by the customer are believed to be accurate and offered in good faith. Certain features or facilities may not be available from time to time due to circumstances beyond our control, for which the owner accept no liability. In addition, no liability can be accepted by the owner for any injury, loss of personal effects, loss or damage to customer, any member of the customers party, or any visitor to the property arising out of, or in connection with, the use of the rental property of the pool. The customer must ensure that all children are supervised at all times whist in or around the pool.
Force Majeure
No liability can be accepted by the owner where the contract is affected by “force majeure”. In context of these terms and conditions, “force majeure” is any event that the owner could not, even with due care, foresee or avoid. These events include, but are not limited to, war, riot, civil commotion or strife, hostile, industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire, acts of god, terrorist activity, earthquake, nuclear disaster, adverse weather, government action, technical problems with transportation, epidemic and pandemic when declared by the World Health Organisation (WHO) or other events outside the owners control.
As we do not request a breakages deposit we reserve the right to request payment for any damages during your stay at the villa once it has been inspected on your departure. On your return home, any such damages will be billed for by us to your home address.
THE OWNERS ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, ACCIDENTS, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PERSONAL EFFECTS HOWSOEVER CAUSED DURING YOUR STAY AT VILLA EKIM.
